H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler passes away at 86 | NASCAR
H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler, who was known as the “P.T. Barnum of Racing” while revolutionizing the fan experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway and across NASCAR, has died.
In May, the NASCAR Hall of Fame announced Wheeler would receive the Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR, which will be part of the Hall of Fame’s 2026 formal induction ceremony.
